Founded in 2021, the Foundation develops projects at the intersection of contemporary art, education, technology and cultural exchange.
The exhibition space is filled with paintings and sharp ceramic bas-reliefs united by the main theme - the search for beauty and strength in disorder. Human outlines are not immediately apparent, bursting through lines and splotches of paint. Broken charcoal combined with plastic acrylic strokes and poisonous pink accents collide to create emotional tension and dynamics on the canvases. In both two-dimensional works and three-dimensional works, images are barely hinted at with textured clay masses, and brittle edges are balanced with fluid glazes. - All this and more can be found at Asya Gorshunova's solo exhibition.
Eurasia is an amazing and mysterious continent! The multifaceted cultures and traditions that inhabit this stunning area have not been fully explored. East and West intertwine and diverge in it! A huge space burning and freezing, dazzling with its brightness and hidden by mirages, like a chameleon changing its color.
We invite you to visit the exhibition of Kazakh artist Talgat Dosmanov, who was able to feel both cultures from different sides and create his own unique view.
SEASON 3
The season explored the question “How to Preserve Cultural Values in the Era of New Technologies”, inviting teenagers to reflect on heritage, identity, memory and human values in a rapidly changing world.
More than 60 countries were represented. The season received 350+ international applications and 300+ regional applications through the Qatar & Palestine Open Call, while 500+ participants joined the educational programme.
The finale took place on 4 December 2025 at Teen Hub, Qatar Museums, bringing together more than 300 guests. The programme combined visual art, design, technology, music and digital storytelling, with highlights including the Design Challenge Awards, performances with Qatar Music Academy, THE 8 X JEFF KOONS presented with the support of Alfardan Automobiles, and the digital film Awakening of Light.
Education remained central to the season, introducing teenagers to the professional art world. Selected winners also received access to educational opportunities through the Christie’s Education learning platform.
Presented during the Art Basel Qatar period, the project connected emerging creative voices with a wider professional contemporary art environment in Doha. For Art.Coordinate Foundation, it reflected a key principle of the programme: recognition should become a starting point for further visibility, presentation and professional connection.
The presentation was attended by ambassadors, diplomats, representatives of cultural institutions, partners and invited guests. The event became a meeting point between young creativity and Qatar’s international cultural community, demonstrating how public art can support dialogue and cultural exchange.
The event presented the new creative direction, International Open Call and upcoming cultural and educational initiatives. The launch marked the beginning of a new season built around opportunities for young people to create, learn, connect and take an active place in cultural dialogue.
Season 4 is centred on the theme of Belonging and the creative concept From Roots to Sky, exploring identity, heritage, memory, community and the connection between where we come from and where we are going.
SEASON 4 — FROM ROOTS TO SKY
The concept is built around a simple metaphor: roots represent memory, heritage, family and culture, while the sky represents growth, imagination, possibility and the future. The season explores the space between the two — what we carry with us and how we continue to evolve.
Birds, nests and threads form the visual identity of the season. Birds move across borders yet remain connected to the idea of home; the nest represents roots and belonging; flight represents freedom and growth. These symbols became the foundation of the Season 4 launch teaser and visual campaign.
The International Open Call runs from 1 August to 1 November 2026 and is free to enter. Participants may submit work across Painting, Graphics, Digital Art, Video, Photography, Craft, Fashion, AI Art and Performance.
His recent series include In Pink Light, Forest Affairs and Auto, addressing themes of prestige and spectacle, censorship and concealment, and the symbolic language of roads and automobile culture.
Lyubchenko studied at the St. Petersburg State Academic Art Lyceum named after B. V. Ioganson and the Ilya Repin St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. His works are held in private collections in Russia, Germany, the United States and China.
For Art.Coordinate Foundation, his development reflects the long-term purpose of our scholarship initiatives: to support emerging talent and follow how that support grows into an independent artistic practice.
At the end of July we had a truly summer and creative event: a meeting with artists in the new Fabrika space. We invited Vadim Spirenkov and Andrei Lavrentiev and they were happy to share the secrets of their creativity and their views on contemporary art. Each of them brought their individuality to the conversation, making it lively and interesting for the guests of the evening, who were able to ask their questions and get answers from the artists.
The meeting ended with Vadim and the guests working together in the performance "Antiperfektsmonism". Together they created a bright work that showed that everyone can be an artist, the main thing is to let the inner creator come out.
By the way, during the event we held a raffle and three lucky winners received stylish shoppers with Andrei's work and original works by Vadim.
Collaboration of AVTODOM BMW St. Petersburg and the Contemporary Art Foundation art.coordinate
As you know, art.coordinate develops the direction "Art as a competitive advantage in business," which helps companies find points of intersection with artists and thanks to them reach a new level of contact with their audience. Especially for AVTODOM BMW the "Big Bang Theory" exposition was developed. The author of the paintings is Rostislav Lihanov, a muralist and lecturer of Stieglitz Academy. The exhibition is held at the dealership AVTODOM BMW St. Petersburg at Startovaya Street, 10.

Student conference Russian and International Avant-Garde in the Context of Their Mutual Influence
On February 7, the art.coordinate Foundation held a student conference Russian and International Avant-garde in the Context of Their Mutual Influence in the walls of the St. Petersburg Avant-garde Museum - Matyushin House.
One of our areas of focus is the re-imagining and study of the avant-garde and contemporary art among young, especially emerging artists. The participants of the conference told about their research, which was complemented by the analysis of interesting questions about the avant-garde movement.
To hold this conference within the walls of the avant-garde museum was especially enjoyable, and a tour of its history perfectly complemented the event.
